Meet the Team
Madena Green, Founder & Executive Director
Madena Green is a Licensed Practical Nurse and mother from Maple Heights, Ohio. As a nurse, she currently works throughout Euclid City Schools as the CTE Allied Health Instructors. With 17 years of experience in nursing, Madena has developed a strong medical background including pediatric health, women’s health, and community outreach. Madena holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Cleveland State University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Education from Bowling Green State University.
In addition, Madena takes pride in mothering and guiding her daughter Destyni and son Cedric. As a teen mother herself, Madena is following her dreams of being a known resource and advocate to other teen mothers. She hopes to develop resourceful relationships with local young parents and families.
Destyni Green, Program Director
Destyni Green is a nonprofit administrator and artist from Maple Heights, Ohio. As an administrator, she specializes in program management and JEDI research. With six years of experience working in small to mid-sized nonprofit organizations, Destyni has grown a robust administrative skill set including marketing + communications, programming, operations, and scholarly research. Destyni holds a Master of Art Administration from the University of Kentucky and is currently serving on the board of the Association of Art Administration Educators (AAAE). In addition, Destyni is a Co-organizer of the Women’s Perspective in Art Administration Symposium.
In addition, Destyni is the firstborn child of One Set Founder + Executive Director, Madena Green. Born to a fifteen-year-old mother, Destyni has a strong passion for supporting teen parents. She strives for her work at One Set to positively impact young, local families.
Cedric Green, Youth Volunteer
Cedric Green is an active student, basketball player, and creative from Maple Heights, Ohio. As a current student of Ratner Montessori, Cedric has built skills as a team leader and student ambassador. He is passionate about being a team player and enjoys using his time “idea-making” for One Set with his mother, Madena Green, and sister, Destyni Green. Cedric looks forward to being a Youth Volunteer for One Set where he will help implement educational and fun programming for the children of One Set teen participants. In addition, he plans to use his role as a Youth Volunteer to exercise his skills in advocacy.
Chaynae Price, Treasurer
Chaynae Price is a Certified Public Accountant, originally from Cleveland, Ohio. With over 17 years of experience in the financial accounting and auditing fields, she has worked with a wide range of nonprofit organizations in advisory and financial management capacities.
In addition, Chaynae is a mother to two children and has volunteered with several nonprofit organizations involving high school students and providing tax preparation services to the local community. Chaynae has witnessed the challenges of teen parenting and is excited about the education, advocacy, and mentorship offered by One Set!
Mauriel Davis, Board Member
Mauriel Davis is an entrepreneur from Garfield Heights Ohio. She is the owner of three small trucking companies in Bedford Heights, Ohio, and has been in the trucking industry for seven years. Mauriel is a mother of two children, Kenydi, age 14, and Jalenn age 18. Before getting into the trucking industry, Mauriel worked in early childhood education for 16 years, primarily within the special education department at Maple Heights City Schools preschool.
Mauriel is also an eleven-year breast cancer survivor; her fight inspired her to start her nonprofit organization called SIP (Sow Into Patients) which supports, motivates, and nurtures current and thriving breast cancer patients. Mauriel enjoys giving to others through testimony and mentorship, vacationing, and making memories with her two children.
